HOW IT BEGAN
As we listen and obey...
One day a local pastor challenged folks in a discipleship equipping class to "do something missional."
The Lord spoke to one of the students and he responded by taking a step of faith.
He started PrayerWalkSanPedro - a monthly ecumenical prayer walk in San Pedro - one praying specifically for the city.
It's been six years. Others joined in.
After 4 years, we felt the Lord speak a simple message saying, "you have my attention." Then about six months ago, the vision of a 24/7 house of prayer gripped our heart. Was the Lord pointing us forward in our intercession?
The answer is yes. In an amazing way, He opened doors for a prayer center and blessed our first event of a weeklong continuous season of intercession attended by many in the community.
Our vision is to see a move of God's Spirit on San Pedro that spills out over the whole church and transforms the community. It would be like an open heaven over San Pedro - churches overflowing, businesses prospering, families reconciled, love abounding
The Word clearly instructs us to intercession and unity and love within the body of Christ in practical ways and promises to pour out a blessing when we do. Considering joining in and "igniting the fire of intercession" for our city.

Interceding for harvest in San Pedro...
Jesus said that the fields are ready for harvest. We know is larger than ever...and that He is equipping the church to this all important task. The "ends" of the earth include San Pedro and the South Bay. We want His harvest HERE...
Establishing God's "net" in our city.
Jesus said his disciples would become "fishers of men." We have come to believe that means the Holy Spirit will birth 10,000 new believers right here in our town - and transform our city through the good news of Jesus. This will happen as the body of Christ comes together (like a net) and we are "stirred up" to "love and good works" in the kingdom.
A Work of the Holy Spirit
It is only as the Holy Spirit works in our hearts that we will connect as the body of Christ per the Word of Christ and we are enabled to be a witness in our town. We are seeing this begun...and expect great breakthroughs...
